The archaeology museum of Sanliurfa opened in 2015 and is located opposite the Kizilkoyun necropolis and adjacent to the Piazza mall. It contains a number of artifacts excavated in the area covering a period from 10000 BC to the Islamic period. The museum is huge and very well set up on two floors. Inside there are a number of unique artifacts such a the Urfa man, a statue dating back to 9000 BC and many pre-pottery artifacts.
