Ko Kut, the second largest island of the Mu Koh Chang Marine National Park archipelago. The beaches with bungalows and luxury resorts are on the north and north-west coasts. Koh Kut is ringed by sleepy seaside villages and coconut plantations. It is about one hour from the mainland by speedboat.
Kut Island has limited infrastructure and therefore is not as popular as nearby Ko Chang island. Several small resorts on the islands cater mostly to Thai tourists who prefer a quiet and family-friendly atmosphere. The island has great beaches and is a great spot to get away from the "farang crowd".
