The exact name of the Sagrada Familia church is Basilica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Familia (Basilica and Expiatory Church of the Holy Family in English). It is a large Roman catholic in Barcelona's Eixample district built with a mix of arhcitectural styles: Spanish Late Gothic, Catalan Modernisme and Art Nouveau. The construction of the church started in 1883, when Antoni Gaudi took over the project and changed its design. It is expected that the church will be completed in 2026. The church contains an impressive amount of detail and decorations. It is a major tourist attraction in Barcelona.
