In the Chinatown area of Singapore there are a couple of interesting Chinese temples. The Buddha Tooth Relic temple and museum was built in 2007 to host the Buddha tooth relic found in a stupa in Myanmar. The Thian Hock Keng temple (Chinese name: Tianfu Gong) is a Tao Chinese temple dedicated to the Tian Hou goddess, built between 1839 and 1842 with materials imported from China. This temple is very photogenic and frequently visited by tourists.
