Fruit farming

Near Salalah tropical fruits such as bananas, coconuts, mango and papayas are grown in farms. Agriculture is possible here due to the summer south east monsoon which refills the water reserves of the region. Along the Sultan Qaboos street fruit is sold in stalls.
