Panorama views of Sahara desert

Some panorama views of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, which are part of the Sahara desert. The dunes lie in southern Morocco next to the village of Merzouga. The colour of the sand is orange.
As with many other images on this site, a panorama technique has been used to create all images of this gallery, whereby individual overlapping images obtained by rotating the camera around its nodal point are merged together in post-processing. A sophisticated panorama software is used which automatically calculates the lens parameters, aligns the images, adjusts the individual images for colour and exposure and produces a seamless very high resolution composite image.
