Beach

The Tagharte beach of Essaouira extends for a couple of km south of the Medina. It's a wide, flat and sandy beach, which is sometimes use by the inhabitants of Essaouira to play football. At the southern of the beach are the Ksob river and the ruins of the Borj el-Berod fortress.
