Melinau river

Sungai Melinau is the river which runs from the park headquarter to the north parallel to the mountain range and allows visitors to access the Wind and Clearwater caves and to continue to Kuala Birar, the starting point of the trail to Camp 5, the base camp from which trips to the Pinnacles start. Further upriver the Melinau river carries less water, so that tourists occasionally have to walk into the river and push the water.
