The Semenovskoye valley is a side valley north of the Issyk Kul lake, about 10km north of Semenovka, not far from the border to Kazakhstan. An initially paved road leads to this valley (entrance fee: 200 Som). The upper parts of the Semenovskoye valley are wide open mountain pastures located at an altitude of 2000-2300m above sea level. The mountains behind the valley are covered with glaciers and are over 4000m high. The scenery is beautiful. It is possible to rent horses for mountain treks.
