Some miscellaneous photos of Bishkek and its surroundings. The Ata-Beyit memorial (Kyrgyz for "Grave of Our Fathers") is dedicated to the victims of the 1938 NKVD purge and the 2010 revolution. It is located about 20km south of Bishkek. Next to it lies the tomb of Chinghiz Aitmatov, Kyrgyzstan's most famous literary figure.
