04 A-bomb dome

The Product Exhibition hall, built in 1915, is the closest building to the centre of the atomic explosion which was not flattened to the ground. It was preserved in the same state as immediately after the explosion as a memorial for future generations. Peace memorial park, Hiroshima, Japan
