The Si-o-seh Pol bridge (also known as Allah Verdikhan bridge) was built in 1602 under the reighn of Shah Abbas I. With a length of 300m and a width of 14m it connects the north of Isfahan with the south through the Chaharbagh avenue. The name of the bridge means 33 arches, a reference to the 33 sluices in the lower part.
