Kuta

Kuta is a small city on the southern coast of Bali, south of Denpasar and immediately north of the international (Ngurah Rai) Bali airport. Kuta has a wide and several km long beach, not so suitable for swimming but well suited for surfing. Kuta is a major tourist centre with countless hotels, bars and restaurants. The road behind the beach, Jalan Pantai Kuta, extends for three km from north to south and is a continuos succession of hotels, shops and shopping malls, restaurants, cafes, travel operators and diving shops. The Ngurah Rai Airport served almost 20 millions passengers in 2016.
