Greetsiel is a small port on the bay of Leybucht on the east Frisian coast in Lower Saxony. Originally a picturesque fishing village it evolved overt time to become a major tourist attraction. Greetsiel has around 1500 inhabitants, but this number swells considerably during the summer months.
