Montmartre

The Montmartre hill to the north of central Paris is 130m high and has been the district of the artists of Paris for the past 200 years. The area is known for the white-domed Sacre Coeur basilica, which stands on the top of the hill overlooking Paris. The basilica was built between 1875 and 1914.
