Zhejiang is a coastal province in eastern China, one of China's smallest. It borders to the north with the Shanghai municipality. The north of Zhejiang consists of intensely cultivated plains while the south is predominantly mountainous. Rice, silk and fish are the major products of Zhejang province. Its capital is the city of Hangzhou. Many cities of Zhejiang are important ports and trading centres.
