Three Gorges and Yangtze river

Some photos of the Jiangze river between the Wu and Xiling gorges, where the river passes through steep and high mountains. The water levels have already risen by about 100-150m since the dam was completed, taking away some of the wilderness from the scenery and making the river more wide and peaceful. Cruise ships are still running along the river originating in Chongqing or Wanzhou and terminating in Sandouping or further downriver.
