Casino district

Gambling and tourism are a very substantial economic factor in Macau. In an area spawning from the southern end of the Macau peninsula to northern Taipa lie a number of large casinos and hotels - Old Lisboa, Grand Lisboa, Wynn and The Venetian to name a few. The two Lisboa casinos at night offer impressive light effects. More casinos and hotels are being constructed on land reclaimed from the sea between Taipa and Macau.
