Tay Ninh is a small city in southern Vietnam, approx. 80km northwest of Saigon. The city is mostly known for being the home of the Cao Dai religion, an indigenous syncretic Vietnamese religion which encompasses the teachings of the major world religions. The Cao Dai Great Temple (i.e. Holy See) is located 5 km to the east of the city and was built between 1933 and 1955.
