A selection of Ao Nang pictures, a long stretch of sand near Krabi in the Andaman sea. The beach is ok, but not too great (no white coral sand and crystal clear water). It is difficult to swim in the sea as the water is very shallow. Accomodation in Ao Nang is quite overpriced, with A/C rooms starting from 1500-2000 Baht. There are no bungalows on the beach - the hotels are separated from the beach by a road. Still, the area is somehow pleasant and has great sunsets. Hat Nopparat Thara beach lies in the Mu Ko Phi Phi national park. When the tide ebbs the stream, the water disappears and you can walk to the Koh Kao Pak Klong island.
