In the Krabi photo gallery you'll find a selection of pictures of Krabi town, the Krabi river, the Rai Leh beaches (also known as Ray Lay or Rai Lay), Phra Nang and Ao Nang beaches, the Fossile Shell cemetery, the Hat Nopparat Thara area and some islands near Rai Leh (Koh Poda and Chicken island). I've been in the Krabi area a total of seven times over the past years. What made me go back again and again was the proximity to KL, the breathtaking scenery, the beaches, the beautiful islands and... rock climbing. Rai Leh is THE major rock climbing centre in South East Asia. There is an excellent infrastructure in place: a huge number of easily reachable routes, stunning rock formations and a good number of rock climbing shops and schools.
