Erawan Shrine

The Erawan shrine is a Hindu temple built in 1956 next the Erawan Hotel in Bangkok. It contains a statue of Phra Phrom, the Thai equivalent of the Hindu god Brahma. In the shrine there are often performances of Thai dancers.
