Park Guell (Güell in Catalan) is a public parc on the hill of el Carmel in Barcelona. It contains many architectural elements designed by Antoni Gaudi, the major exponent of the Catalan Modernisme. The park was commissioned by Eusebi Güell in 1900 and built between 1900 and 1914. Together with other works of Antoni Gaudi in Barcelona the park has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984.
