Beach and Port Olympic
Port Olimpic was set up in 1991 for the sailing competitions of the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games. Nowadays it is used as a recreational harbour for yachts. Along the promenade lie several restaurants and shopping malls. The Barceloneta beach is a beautiful and long beach consisting of fine sand.
