The Sri Krishnan Hindu temple is a shrine dedicated to Lord Krishna in Waterloo street near the Goddess of Mercy temple. It was originally set up in 1870 as a thatched hut with a statue of Lord Krishna under a banyan tree. Later this was converted to a shrine. Today the temple is frequently used for Hindu weddings.
