Beaches
The coast to the north of Muscat consists of an essentially endless beach, which can be accessed outside of central Muscat directly from the road running parallel to the beach. The sand is light-brown/pink. Al Qurum is a popular spot with a number of cafes and hotels lying nearby. In the evening people play football on the beach.
