Pindaya

This photo gallery contains pictures of Pindaya, a small town centered around a lake which lies about 40 km north of the Inle lake. Its main attraction is the Shwe U Min pagoda (= Golden Cave pagoda) on a steep hill overlooking the Pindaya plane. The limestone caves behind the pagoda contain a maze with over 6000 Buddha statues.
