Moulay Idriss is a holy town in northern Morocco, named after Moulay Idriss, a descendant of the prophet Mohammed. The tomb of Moulay Idriss is a major pilgrimage site and is situated in an elevated position between two hills. Moulay Idriss lies 4km from the Roman site of Volubilis.
