Miscellaneous photos

Some photos taken in the village of Merzouga in February 2007. Kasbah Le Touareg is a hotel in local Saharian architecture. Near Merzouga is a lake, which in winter is populated by colonies of migratory birds. A grey card was used as a reference to measure the colour of the sand of the Erg Chebbi dunes.
