Central Medina

These photos were taken in the central part of the Fes el Bali medina, between the Rcif square and the Bab Bou Jeloud gate. In this section of the Medina there are a number of sights including the Zawiya Moulay Idriss mausoleum dedicated to Moulay Idriss who introduced the Muslim faith to Morocco, the Nejjarine square and museum, several historic buildings and ornamental fountains. The panorama shots were taken from the roofs of the houses.
