Sibu
A selection of pictures of Sibu (Sarawak) taken during visits in 2000 and 2003. Sibu is the second largest town in Sarawak and the main trading centre between the coast and the Rejang river area. About 60% of the population in Sibu is Chinese. Speedboats connect Sibu with Kapit and Belaga, on the Rejang river.
