The Thean Hou temple (Tian Hou) is a Chinese temple located in Kuala Lumpur on top of the Robson heights off Jalan Syed Putra, very near to Midvalley shopping mall. It was completed in 1987 and officially opened in 1989. The temple is both a Buddhist and Taoist religious site and is dedicated to the goddess Tian Hou, also known as Mazu. The temple is beautifully decorated and built in traditional Chinese style. The prayer hall houses three altars, each with a sculpture of one deity. The temple is frequently used by couple for wedding photo shoots and sometimes by film crews shooting a movie.
