Patuxai Gate of Triumph

The Patuxai, the Arch or Gate of Triumph, formerly the Anousavary or Anosavari Monument, is a monument in the center of Vientiane built in 1960. It is an arch with an observation deck on top, built to commemorate Lao who had died in struggle for indepence from France.
