Kalimbuang Bori is a burial site located 7km north of Rantepao, dating back to 1718. It consists mainly of 102 vertical menhir stones (one per funeral conducted at the site) arranged on a meadow. Behind the menhirs, a staircase leads to several tombs carved in huge rocks. Human skulls and bones are on display in one of the rock chambers.
