Downtown Urumqi
The centre of Urumqi around the Renmin city square and Zhongshan road is an area with modern buildings, shopping complexes and parks. Zhongshan road is a major shopping road in Urumqi, most of the time cowded and full of people shopping for stuff. The train station is a modern building with huge steel glass facades.
