The Chongqing International Convention and Exhibition Centre (CQCEC), a huge complex located on the southern bank of the Yangtze river in the Nan Ping district, is currently reaching completion. It consists of an exhibition hall with 133,000 square meters of area and a convention hall with 42,000 square meters of area. Near the centre are several shopping malls and hotels.
